watercolor on paper, painted feather, birch tree trunk slice, walnut wood, graphite, Lake Michigan stones, painted fossil index pages, encaustic and industrial mold on wood.
Different component parts of this assemblage slowly gathered in a pile on my table until I sorted out a composition that I felt honored and balanced all of these materials and surfaces.
