Since a child able to remember the roadrunner has always mesmerized me. I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a child able to play free and clear on acres of desert and participate in the amazing ecosystem of the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. I shared that playground with roadrunners, sometimes pausing for a peek.
