Funny Face Series created as an addition to the Mercado Collection, available for purchase. Artist, Zarco Guerrero created these masks to add more variety at festivals. After realizing the large number of aggressive-faced masks he produced, he decided it was time to lighten the air with two new series of masks; the 2024 Happy Face & Funny Face Series. By creating the new mask series, the artist payed tribute to traditional themes used in Mexican art and provided a special element of humor and cheerfulness displayed for festivals and the mercado.

Tan skin tone base. Brown, wide-set eyebrows. Small, narrow eye cutouts. Crease line on each eyelid and underneath the eyes. Nasolabial line on each side on the mouth. Small mouth, slightly opened. Brown lips with dark lip creases on the bottom lip.
