- Shona People
Shona pots were made in Zimbabwe by the Shona peoples (mostly women). They are made with small tools or by hand using clay. Once the pots are shaped, they are fired in a kiln. The pots were normally used for cooking, storing and serving foods and liquids, and rituals/spiritual purposes.
